Over 350 lots Featuring stylish antique and hand crafted furniture and collectibles that have attracted visitors to the Wydnor Hall Bethlehem Bed & Breakfast for over 30 years. Virginia made furniture sets, original paintings from 19th c. Hungary, framed wall art, lighting and mirrors, high-end decorative objects, including art pottery made just for the B&B and identified as Wydnor Hall Pottery.

The owners purchased the property in 1986 and moved into one room of the main house to oversee the 18th-century property that was once part of a 90 acre estate. After discovering its sound foundation, seeing the adjacent cottage and frame house out back, friends pointed out that it would make a lovely Bed & Breakfast and the restoration began soon after.

Contents of the Auction come from five rooms in the main house, including several bedroom suites, a library, dining room and kitchen. The decor is charming and each room is filled with furniture and heirlooms held onto by the owners from their families of central Pennsylvania, Virginia and Hungary.

Artwork includes noted artists;
2 Robert Knipschild crayon and ink art works (well known and listed artist), Lula McCowell watercolor, Leah Joseph large oil on canvas, 2 Helen Tompkins watercolors (New York and New Jersey artist), Jeremy King oil painting (listed artist from the United Kingdom)

Oil on canvas #2341 “The Miser”, circa 19th Century signed R. Dillan set in a very ornate gilt frame, Oil on board by Jack Coggins titled Corn Shocks (listed artist).

Featuring original Wydnor Hall Art Pottery in Bramble, Bali, white and other recognizable patterns produced and handpainted in Allentown, PA from the 1980’s through early 2000’s, some Wydnor Hall pieces, including Bramble art, were sold at Neiman Marcus Department Stores. The same artist is also attributed to several paintings in this sale. 


Online Only Bidding Auction starts closing 7pm Tuesday June 25, 2019 with 2 items closing per minute, bidding continues as auction closes. Extended bidding, if a bid is placed within the last 2 minute of a lot’s scheduled close time the bidding will be extended 2 minutes from the last bid.

Pick up hours: Friday and Saturday June 28th and 29th from 10am-2pm. The property has been sold so please plan on pick up during these hours unless prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneer.
